A woman has died after a shooting in Springfield Township, police said. Officers responded to a report of a woman shot in the head at a residence in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue shortly after 7 a.m. Monday. Police have an area of a housing complex on Lincoln Avenue blocked off with tape as they investigate Monday morning.

A woman was found dead from a headshot wound after an early morning shooting in Springfield Township, with the investigation ongoing and no suspects identified.
