Three additional Salisbury University students were arrested, increasing those charged to 15, for their involvement in an alleged hate crime attack on a man at an off-campus apartment, police said.

Twelve Salisbury University students, including seven associated with a fraternity, have been charged with a hate crime for an alleged brutal attack on a man because of his sexual orientation, according to authorities.

Three more people were arrested and charged with hate crimes in a targeted attack on a man who was allegedly kicked, spit on and called derogatory names because of his sexual orientation, police in Maryland said.
