North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has ordered his country to quickly start mass producing self-detonating explosive drones, calling their development an “essential requirement,” after overseeing a test of the deadly aerial weapon,

North Korea says it has tested exploding drones designed to hit targets and leader Kim Jong Un called for accelerating their mass production.

Analysts say the low-cost weapons are attractive to Mr. Kim, who is intent on modernizing North Korea’s military.
