Right-handed hitters struggled to hit home runs at Camden Yards over the past few years, so the Baltimore Orioles are moving the left field wall back in a bit.

After adjusting the left field dimensions at Oriole Park before the 2022 season, Baltimore will make alterations ahead of the 2025 campaign.

The Orioles are making changes to the left-field wall at Camden Yards once again. Baltimore executive vice president and general manager Mike Elias announced Friday that the franchise will shorten dimensions in left field at Oriole Park by as much as 20 feet, 11 feet in some areas and as little as nine feet in others.

For the Baltimore Orioles, it was mission accomplished when they altered the dimensions of Camden Yards to move in the left field fences, erect a higher wall and make life more pleasant for pitchers of all handedness before the 2022 season.

Orioles general manager Mike Elias announced in a news conference on Friday afternoon that the expanded left field fence dimensions will be changing after three seasons. The new fence will be somewhere in between where things used to be and where things are now.
