The Tennessee Titans host the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, giving rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr., a chance to get physical with star WR Justin Jefferson.

But when Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota offense stepped onto the field, that changed. The Jaguars mixed up their defense completely, playing with two high safeties on 93 percent of their snaps in an effort to prevent Jefferson from beating them with explosive plays.

Though most opposing teams do everything in their power to limit Jefferson whenever they play the Vikings, the Jaguars took it to a different level this past weekend. They used split safety coverage scheme on 92.9% of snaps, which was the highest rate of split safety coverage since 2018, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.

The Minnesota Vikings ruled out All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. Jefferson, who had been listed as questionable, was a limited participant in practice during the week.
