USC Trojans wide receiver Duce Robinson had a career-day in their 28-20 win over Nebraska on Saturday. The sophomore's performance helped USC quarterback Jayden Maiava excel in his first career start in the Cardinal and Gold.

Maiava, in his first start at USC, threw a pick-six to Nebraska corner and former Trojan Ceyair Wright. Maiava did some good things on Saturday. There are some plays he’ll want back, too, like the interception and a third-quarter fumble.

They did beat Nebraska, but it’s not as though this was a transformed group. USC did make the extra handful of plays needed to win, but the Trojans let a mediocre team hang around, and they still couldn’t create real separation in the fourth quarter.
